The Two Studios

Practice any art, music, singing, dancing, acting, drawing, painting, sculpting, poetry, fiction, essays, reportage, no matter how well or badly, not to get money and fame, but to experience becoming,
to find out what's inside you, to make your soul grow."

Kurt Vonnegut

Below are photos from my private art studio where I prepare gallery and private collection works.

The weekly classes and workshops are held in the teaching area which is across my private studio. People in the classes are welcome to pop into my private studio to check out some of my older works and even have a look at my new paintings in progress. They can also browse through my collection of art books.

To view photos of the teaching area, go to weekly classes or workshops.

Both studios will relocate to a new venue this coming May 2017. The new venue is still on the same premises as the private studio but with a lot more space and some exciting new features  - more news on this a bit later.

Sketching corner of the studio. Three sliding doors provide natural light from two sides of the room, making it easy to control the amount of light in the room.

Keeping my work space tidy, practical and uncluttered helps me to focus on projects on the easel.

I use a separate table for oil paints and pastels as I prefer to keep these materials away from my sketching table.

View of the patio stairs and entrance to the new venue which will host both my private and teaching studios from May 2017.

The garden is maintained using only recycled household water.
